Narodytska settlement territorial community is a territorial community in Korosten district of Zhytomyr region.

The administrative center is the village of Narodychi.

It was formed on August 6, 2015, as part of the 2015 administrative-territorial reform, by merging all councils of the district: Narodytska settlement and Bazarska, Bolotnytska, Vyazumska, Guto-Maryatynska, Zakusilivska, Zaliska, Laskivska, Mezhyliska, Motiykivska, Novodorogynska, Noryntsivska, Radchanska, Seletska, Starodorogynska, Sukhariv village councils of Narodytsky district of Zhytomyr region.

The composition of the community was approved by the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 711-r dated June 12, 2020 “On the determination of administrative centers and approval of the territories of territorial communities of Zhytomyr region”.

According to the resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine No. 807-IX of July 17, 2020 “On the formation and liquidation of districts”, the community became part of the newly created Korosten district of Zhytomyr region.

The village of Narodichi is located 25 km away. from Ovruch railway station. The distance to the regional center is 140 kilometers, to the capital of Ukraine – 170 kilometers. The highways Korosten-Dovlyady (Republic of Belarus), Kyiv-Minsk pass through the community. The total length of community roads is 312 kilometers.

The Narodytsk territorial community was the most affected by the accident at the Chornobyl NPP. In accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated July 23, 1991, 36 settlements of the district were assigned to the zone of mandatory resettlement (including the district center itself), 36 to the zone of guaranteed voluntary resettlement, another 8 to the zone enhanced radioecological control. Due to a number of reasons, only a part of them were resettled, some were partially resettled. Agricultural land is gradually being cleaned of radionuclides, which will make it possible to expand agricultural production on the territory of the territorial community.
